The Department of the Environment and the Regional Park 'Salinas de San Pedro' organize, on the occasion of World Environment Day, which is held every June 5, the guided tour 'A beach without contamination by plastics'.
This year the World Environment Day calls on the population of the whole world in favor of a planet without contamination by plastics.
Well, every year 8 million tons of plastic are dumped into the oceans, threatening marine and human life, and destroying natural ecosystems.
The activity that is proposed from San Pedro del Pinatar joins this initiative with the purpose of investigating what waste is found on our coasts and the actions we can take to avoid its contamination.
Next Saturday, June 2 this route will start at 10:00 am with a walk along the salt flats until you reach the natural beach, in a 3-kilometer route with low difficulty.
Those interested can register through telephone 968 17 81 39.
