The Councilor for Sports, Javier Castejón, and the secretary of AD Pinatarense, Laura Salmerón, presented the regatta of the regional canoeing league that will be held on June 3 in the town.

Javier Castejón thanked the club for betting another year for the town to carry out this canoeing race and highlighted the work done by the AD Pinatarense in promoting the practice of sport in the Mar Menor environment.

For its part, Laura Salmerón, added that from the club AD Pinatarense choose to bring this competition to the municipality each year and that this year has changed the location of the tournament, moving to the unique environment of La Mota, parallel to the walk that unites the two salt mills.

Thus, he pointed out that on Sunday will meet in this competition 120 paddlers of all categories, from children of 7 years to veterans.
