San Pedro del Pinatar and Lo Pagán celebrated yesterday the religious festival of Corpus Christi, in which dozens of children who received the first communion processioned.
San Pedro del Pinatar welcomed the procession of Corpus Christi that was also celebrated yesterday in Lo Pagán during the morning, in the church of Nuestra Seńora del Carmen and in which dozens of children processioned that this year received the first communion.
Thus, dozens of children left, after a Eucharist in the Church of the Most Holy Trinity, accompanied by the banners of the brotherhoods of the Holy Week of San Pedro del Pinatar opening the processional procession.
The little ones who have received communion this year, spread flower petals on the seven altars and streets of the municipality, to receive the sacred form, to the Plaza de la Constitución.
The altars, exquisitely decorated, received the children, relatives and numerous neighbors, and the priests of the town who under the canopy carried the symbol of the Body of Christ.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, members of the municipal corporation and faithful of the municipality closed the procession followed by the music band Unión Musical de San Pedro.
