The headquarters of the association of Housewives, Consumers and Users Virgen de la Piedad, hosted on June 5, World Environment Day, an informative talk on responsible consumption under the slogan "No contamination by plastics."

The municipal technician of Environment informed about the new Decree on reduction of the consumption of plastic bags, besides notions about recycling and how to realize a responsible and sustainable consumption.

After the talk, the Councilor for Consumption, Lidia Sánchez, and the head of the OMIC, Municipal Office of Consumer Information, distributed reusable shopping bags to encourage the reduction of single-use bags.
