The beaches of La Puntica, Villananitos and La Mota gathered on Sunday, June 10, thousands of people who traveled to attend the 75th Anniversary International Air Festival of the General Air Academy, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 00 hours
The spectators enjoyed a great parade of airplanes and acrobatic patrols from different parts of the world, such as the Papea paratroopers, the Aspa helicopters, the Canadiar, or the American Osprey.
The Italian Frecce Tricolori and the Águila Patrulla stood out for their beauty, which closed the exhibition by drawing a large flag of Spain on the Mar Menor.
San Pedro del Pinatar joined the security and mobility device coordinated for the occasion by the General Air Academy, the Autonomous Community, the Government of Spain and municipalities of the Mar Menor, which included 500 troops and 30,000 parking spaces, as well as shuttle buses.
Specifically, San Pedro del Pinatar enabled five parking areas with buses to the beach area, in addition to having a large Local Police device, with 30 agents, including the staff of the Beaches Unit;
and more than 50 Civil Protection volunteers.
