The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez, the president of the Association of Housewives, Immaculate of the Borbolla, members of the municipal corporation, and the queens of the Fiestas with their court, delivered yesterday afternoon, June 19, the prizes to the best works in the modalities of crafts, Patchwork, bobbin, hemstitches, embroideries, tin, painting in cloth, and oil painting.
Throughout the course, dozens of members have participated in the workshops held at the headquarters of the association and show in this exhibition that is celebrated coinciding with the festivities and the end of the courses.
A small gift was also given to the teachers of the workshops for the work they do throughout the course in a disinterested way and to the hairdressers who help put the blanket for the processions of Holy Week.
The president of the association announced at the ceremony that one more year they will participate in the festivities of San Pedro del Pinatar with a gastronomic booth in the new Festival Venue and that they are preparing, in collaboration with the City Council, the celebration in October of the 50th anniversary of the Association that has more than 700 members.
