The Department of Parks and Gardens of San Pedro del Pinatar culminated yesterday, June 22, the second edition of the program "See you in the park", an initiative that aims to publicize the smallest parks and green areas of the municipality new or that have been recently reformed.
Thus, more than 200 children enjoyed a snack, sings dances and the visit of their favorite characters on this last date in the new park located next to the bus station.
This space has been completely renovated in recent months, turning a wooded area into a walkable garden, in which the existing vegetation has been respected, creating an interior walkway, with areas of benches, lighting, and a fenced area for children's games.
This new park, located on the street Mayor José María Tárraga, has involved an investment of approximately 70,000 euros, and is part of the action that the City Council has carried out throughout the area, with the construction of the fairground, located at the same block, and the renovation of street lights and sidewalks.
