The president of the Community, Fernando López Miras, participated today in the pilgrimage on the occasion of the feast of Our Lady of Carmen in San Pedro del Pinatar, which he described as "a very symbolic pilgrimage for the residents of this municipality, for fishermen of the Mar Menor and, in short, for the Region of Murcia ".

The regional chief executive remarked that "it is the second consecutive year that I have been accompanying the residents of San Pedro del Pinatar on this day", and he referred to the situation of the Minor.

He said that "its waters are much better than last year and ready to receive the thousands of tourists who will come from any corner of the world to visit this year San Pedro del Pinatar, the Mar Menor and the Region of Murcia."
