The Marine Sports Basin of Las Salinas, in the Port of San Pedro del Pinatar, will host the start and finish of the fourth edition of this race in which 600 runners will participate next Saturday, July 28.
The Councilor for Sports, Javier Castejón, and the sporting director of San Pedro del Pinatar, José Ramón Moya, presented today at a press conference the fifth edition of the popular race Pinatar Full Moon Race, included in the circuit of the Running Challenge Region of Murcia.
The Councilor stressed that this is a test that reaches the maximum number of entries every year, in fact the 600 seats authorized by the Environment have already been covered, since among other singularities, it offers the runner the possibility of running in a natural landscape unique, as is the Regional Park of Salinas and Arenales and the beaches of the town, under the light of the moon and on different surfaces, asphalt and sand, with an approximate distance of eight kilometers.
For his part, José Ramón Moya explained that the absolute event will begin at 9:30 pm, with start and finish at the Marina dock of the Marina de Las Salinas.
While, from 20:00 hours, racing for minors will also be held in this enclave.
The race is organized by the Department of Sports of the City of San Pedro del Pinatar and the Murcia Athletics Federation, with the collaboration of Puerto Marina de Las Salinas, CubiPlaya, Estrella Levante and Coca Cola.
