the Councilor for Culture of San Pedro del Pinatar, Silvia Egea, inaugurated the exhibition "Around the Saltworks" by the watercolorist Miguel Torralba.
Torralba hangs in the Art Room of the House of Culture until September 1, a total of 43 watercolors of various sizes, most made in recent months and other older but unpublished in the town.
The artist has painted wet on dry and wet on wet to show the typical landscape of the Mar Menor, extensive sands, dunes and marinas.
Pinatarenses corners to which Miguel feels very close since in 1964 his parents began to spend the summer in Lo Pagan and later in Torre de la Horadada.
Self-taught, Miguel was soon seduced by the pictorial possibilities of the landscape, especially the intensely warm colors of the sunrises and sunsets of our coastline.
