A total of 50 students participate in this workshop which is held for the fifth consecutive year in the town and which aims to offer a complete and transversal training on healthy lifestyle habits and possible biomedical actions to improve the quality of life.
The Councilor for Education, Guadalupe García, and the Director of the International University of the Sea, Mercedes Bernabé, attended on Tuesday, September 4, the opening of the workshop "Biomedicine and Quality of Life", which is held in the town until the next September 7 and has completed the 50 places offered.
Since 2001, the City of San Pedro del Pinatar has collaborated with the International University of the Sea (UNIMAR) in the dissemination of the university through initiatives such as this one that broadens the educational offer of the town and brings the university closer to all citizens.
In this framework, this workshop on biomedicine, led by José Meseguer and Alfonsa García, will be held for the fifth consecutive year and until next Friday will address different topics of scientific and social interest such as the importance of adequate nutrition, prevention and care of diseases , the sociosanitary challenges of the aging of the population or the vital testament, among others.
