The Plaza de la Constitución has hosted an informative day on the Participatory Budgets of the Autonomous Community 2019, to which 21.5 million euros are allocated.
The Secretary General of the Transparency, Participation and Spokesman Council, Enrique Ujaldón, and the Mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, today announced in the Plaza de la Constitución the implementation of the 2019 Participatory Budgets, endowed with 21.5 million euros.
Ujaldón explained that the consultation phase takes place from October 1 to 16, through an online questionnaire accessible through mobile devices or a computer.
In order to facilitate participation, information sessions are being held in the secondary education institutes, since it is possible to vote as of the age of 14, senior centers and in several municipalities of the Region.
The participatory budget of the Community is structured in total in 13 programs and 129 proposals of collectives and associations have been included, according to the criterion of technical and legal viability.
On the other hand, Visitación Martínez, has pointed out that the City of San Pedro del Pinatar will also promote, for the second consecutive year, the Participatory Local Budgets, with an amount of 200,000 euros for 2018.
"This year we have doubled the amount directed to the Participatory Budgets and, in addition, we will give the possibility to citizens, neighbors and visitors to make their own proposals, in a first phase from October 8 to 21. Then, a technical assessment will be made and the viability of all the proposals and, by the end of November, the voting process will be opened for those that meet the criteria set, "the mayor announced.
