The councilman of Culture, Silvia Egea, has presented today the programming of activities for the last quarter of the year that include theater, music, exhibitions, workshops and courses, among other novelties.
The cultural program of San Pedro del Pinatar for the last quarter reinforces the theatrical programming with children's works, for adults and retrieves the Amateur Theater Exhibition, to which are added different exhibitions in the House of Culture and the municipal museum Baron de Benifayó .
Thus, in the entertainment section, the program will start next Saturday, October 6 at 6:00 pm at the Casa de la Cultura with "Robin Hood", a children's musical comedy by Globalplay, which will be followed on 19 October, at 10:00 pm "Los cuernos de Don Friolera, by Valle Inclán, by Morfeo Teatro and on October 26, the fun comedy WC Woman Caos, by VitaBrevis.
The month of November will be dedicated to amateur theater with the VII amateur theater exhibition, on 9, 16, 23 and 30 November.
In addition, during the children's area will be represented "Manos Arriba", framed in the TitereMurcia festival, on November 17, and the family show "Magicus", from La Murga Teatro, on November 24.
The theatrical programming at the House of Culture will conclude on November 29, December 1 and 2 with the representation of the pantomine "Sleeping Beauty", by the Adapt Association, and on December 14 "The Broken Unicorn" , from the local theater group La Barraca de Federico.
In addition to this varied theatrical offer, the School of Music will hold mini concerts on the street, on the occasion of Santa Cecilia, on Saturday, November 24.
From the exhibition area, the Municipal Museum Barón de Benifayó will house the photographic exhibition "Roots stripped", by Pedro García Ródenas, from October 5 to November 6, "Portraits of Cinema", by Juan Lorente, from November 10 to 9 December, and will close the month with "Fuego Magia y Cristal", by José Manuel Rebollo, from December 15 to January 6, 2019.
In the Art Space of the House of Culture will be an exhibition to mark the 50th anniversary of the Association of Housewives, from 11 to 28 October, which will be followed by the collective exhibition of six artists of the Association CE3 "Identidades Gráficas, from November 9 to December 10 and, to close the quarter," La mirada de los espacios ", a sculptural pictorial sample by Omar Vergara, from December 14 to January 20, 2019.
In addition, the Department of Culture also continues this course with painting workshops, by José Semitiel;
chess workshop, taught by the Mar Menor Chess Club;
the reading club coordinated by El Árbol Rojo and the children's animation workshops for reading, the offer of the municipal music school, as well as the cinema forum on Wednesdays and the small cinema, the second and fourth Saturday of each month.
Among other activities, the Department of Culture will also host the presentation of the book "Anecdotario de un rodamundos", by the writer based in San Pedro del Pinatar, Miguel Díaz Galindo, on November 8 at the Casa de la Cultura.
This program is completed with other events such as the second edition of Allegro, a music festival in urban spaces to be held on October 13 and to be presented in the coming days, or the acts included in the Christmas program.
