The exhibition space of the Municipal Museum Barón de Benifayó, hosts the photo exhibition "Roots stripped" by Pedro García Ródenas, organized by the Institute of Cultural Industries and Arts of the Region of Murcia.
The abandonment of the rural world is the guiding thread of this exhibition that emerged in 2017, becoming the first individual exhibition of the photographer Pedro García Ródenas, who, during the inauguration was surrounded by the Councilor for Culture of San Pedro del Pinatar, Silvia Egea, and a large public that enjoyed its beautiful photographs.
All the snapshots that make up the sample that can be visited until November 5, have been taken entirely in Yecla, municipality of the author and focus on houses and abandoned crops, the shortage of young people in the field, and environmental problems such as proliferation of fires, overexploitation of aquifers and climate change.
A set of images that recreate the beauty of the rural world as a way of feeling life.
