The Department of Sports and sports associations work together in the management of municipal sports schools and the promotion of sports among children and young people in the town.

The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, together with the Councilor for Sports, Javier Castejón, and representatives of six sports associations have signed cooperation agreements today to promote different sports such as football, indoor soccer, badminton, judo or canoeing .

The signing ceremony was attended by the presidents of the Pinatar Baseball School, Pinatar Futsal Club, Judo Pinatar, Pinatar Futsal Pacote, 30740 Sports Club and Pinatarense Sports Association.

In addition, similar agreements will soon be signed with the Pinatar Rhythmic and Aesthetic Club and the Pinatar Taekwondo Club.

The objective of these agreements is to strengthen the bonds of collaboration between these associations and the City Council, so that they receive subsidies and the assignment of municipal spaces for the practice of their sports and commit themselves to carry out activities to promote sports, such as management of sports schools or school promotion campaigns, among other actions.
