The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, inaugurated last night the photographic exhibition commemorating the 50th anniversary of the local association of Amas de Casa.
Along with her, the current president of the Association, Inmaculada Borbolla, military and civil authorities, municipal government team, members of the executive and members of the Association of Housewives, consumers, and users "Virgen de la Piedad".
In the twenty photographs that are hung in the Art Space of the House of Culture, it shows the evolution of these 50 years of trajectory the association and the active social participation of the group of housewives as well as their work in education, training and personal and family projection of this group that has also contributed to the defense of the environment, the promotion of sustainable consumption for citizenship, the promotion of health and social welfare.
In addition, you can see costumes of Carnival, banner and capuz of Holy Week, constitution minutes and pennants that confirm the close relationship of the Association of Housewives with the General Air Academy.
The Local Association of Housewives has organized other activities to mark the 50th anniversary of the Association's history in the municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar.
Thus, on October 27 there will be a Eucharistic Mass in the Church of the Holy Trinity and then in the Fairgrounds the act of tributes to the members of higher and lower age, special mentions and Spanish wine will be held.
