Those arrested are allegedly responsible for the crimes of robbery with violence and injuries
The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has carried out the operation 'Violentiam', an investigation aimed at clarifying the crimes of robbery with violence and injuries committed in San Pedro del Pinatar, which until now has been settled with identification, location , arrest and subsequent judicial disposal of two of the alleged perpetrators of the criminal acts.
The events took place last August in Lo Pagan-San Pedro del Pinatar, when a person was assaulted by a group of people who beat him to the ground and stole several personal effects.
The victim of the assault filed a complaint with the Benemérita, for which reason an investigation was initiated to clarify the facts and arrest the perpetrators.
In its manifestation, the victim reported that after the authorship of the reported crimes would be a large group of individuals, all of Maghrebi origin, and that as a result of the robbery had suffered injuries for which he had to be treated by health personnel.
The Civil Guard continued with an investigation to gather all the possible indications that the victim could bring, as well as the location of possible witnesses of the facts that could provide more clues about the authorship of the crimes investigated.
As a result of the researches carried out, the researchers managed to identify some of the perpetrators of the robbery with violence, who have a police record for similar crimes.
Once identified, the civil guards set up a search device on the alleged perpetrators, since they used security measures to prevent their location, such as a continuous change of address.
Fruit of the device, the agents have managed to locate two of the suspects, who were hiding in homes in San Pedro del Pinatar and Torre Pacheco, where they have been arrested as alleged perpetrators of the crimes of robbery with violence and injuries.
The Benemérita continues with the development of the operation, which is framed in the 'Safe Tourism Plan', in order to locate the rest of those involved in the criminal acts investigated, so that new arrests are not ruled out.
The Moroccan detainees, aged 19 and 21, living in San Pedro del Pinatar and Torre Pacheco and with a history of similar crimes, together with the proceedings ordered, have been placed at the disposal of the Court of Instruction of San Javier (Murcia).
