This program of the Department of Equality includes during the last quarter of the year various leisure activities and training aimed at contributing to the personal development of women.
The Councilor for Equality, Guadalupe García, today presented the programming of the "Entre Nosotras" cycle for the new course, which in this quarter includes talks and workshops in different areas.
Thus, the program, which takes place every Wednesday at 10:00 in the Center for Equality and Social Services Agustina Santiago, begins tomorrow, October 17, with a presentation on the labeling of products by Rebeca Verdú, who On October 24 he will offer another talk about feeding children.
The month of October will end with the first session of the reading club 'Salicornia', which will be boosted one more year by Isabel Vera Sáez.
On November 7, a talk on responsible attitudes towards the environment will be given by Eva Pagán, Environmental Technician of the City Council;
followed by a pastry workshop, led by the José Antonio Confectionery focused on the chocolate nougat.
On November 28, psychologist Yolanda Lajarín will offer clues to relate to your thoughts, as well as accept and transform your fears.
In December, more playful proposals are offered, such as a hairstyling workshop, by Lourdes Peñalver and Desirre Martínez of Hairdressing and Color Aesthetics, and a convivial meal to close the quarter.
In addition to this cycle, the Department of Equality develops the program of access to New Technologies, with the "Active Training Classroom" where workshops on use and management of the computer, Internet access and e-mail, among other contents, are taught. the objective of lessening the digital divide.
The IGUALATE program is also being developed, with the ¡'Empléate Ya!! Workshop, aimed at providing skills and resources necessary for your active job search.
Also during this quarter will be held the fifth jorandas of "Woman and Sport" with the motto "Move for You Move Yourself", for the benefit of the Spanish Association Against Cancer, on November 11 and which will include a march on foot and a Zumba masterclass in the Parque del Mar Reyes de España in Lo Pagán.
The Department of Equality develops various programs and services that last year included more than 30 free activities in which 446 people participated.
