The EFB Pinatar celebrated its official presentation of the 2018-19 season last Friday, October 26, in an act that also paid tribute to the recently deceased member of the board of directors and former president of the school, Jesus Navarro.
The more than 350 students that form the EFB received the warmth of family and friends in an event that stood out for innovation and spectacularity, chaired by the mayors, Visitación Martínez, the sports councilor, Javier Castejón, the president of the school, José Bernardo Castejón and the sponsors of the same for this season.
The EFB Pinatar this year has the challenge of competing for the first time in its history with all its categories in the top division of regional football, from youth to prebenjamines, passing cadets, children, fry and benjamines, which places San Pedro del Pinatar in the regional elite of this sport.
This School also has a bottle of children with 3 and 4 years, who will play exhibition games.
The training offer is completed with a technician school of goalkeepers, and the novelty of this course is a technification school for young players, which is already bearing fruit with the individual technical improvement of the children.
The players and technicians paraded between lights and smoke at the José Antonio Pérez Stadium, with their respective teams, ending with the screening of a video and a subsequent fireworks display.
The act continued with the delivery of personalized scarves by the students of the School to the different sponsors: Horadada TV Group, Hortamira, New Castelar College, Interemployment, Caja Rural Central, Tritrón SL, Ucam University, Pinatar Sport, Roast Chicken Bartolome Gonzalvez, Johana & Gisela Group, Sports Council and City Council of San Pedro del Pinatar.
Later, José María Martínez, manager of Grupo Caliche and New Castelar College, took the floor to praise the work that this school does for society and sports, and the love it transmits to its students and families.
For its part, the mayor stressed the importance of the Football School in the society of Pinar del Rio, and said that it will always have the help and collaboration of its City Council.
The great family photo, a minute of silence in memory and remembrance of Jesús R. Navarro Puchol, former president of the School and recently deceased and the discovery of a space dedicated to the School, served to close this act of presentation.
