The past Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 November, the large audience could check the progress of about thirty students of different instruments such as string, piano, wind or percussion and enjoy a concert of the Musical Union of San Pedro del Pinatar with a wide repertoire where there was no shortage of well-known melodies from the world of cinema, contemporary compositions or the Canto a Murcia, La Parranda to finish.
These activities, in addition to serving to commemorate the patron saint of the musicians, are part of the "Music on the street" concert series, a proposal for street music so that the work of the school and the progress of the students arrive to all and that has been celebrated throughout the last months in the municipality.
The president of the Musical Union and director of the Music School, Juan Manuel Martínez, did not miss these appointments, as well as a large number of professors who made these events possible, among them, José Dodiva, Mercedes Tárraga, David Pérez, Francisco José Hairstyle, Alberto Lopez, Tomás Navarro, Isabel Marín and the band's own director, Bartolomé Martínez.
The mayor of the town, Visitación Martínez, the councilor for Culture, Silvia Egea and a broad representation of the municipal corporation also attended during the two days of these concerts, showing their support for this type of initiative.
