The House of Culture hosted the award ceremony of the Amateur Theater Festival of San Pedro del Pinatar, which has been held during the last month in the municipality.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez, along with actor Juan Gea, delivered last night the awards of the 8th Festival of Amateur Theater of the municipality, which was held during the month of November at the house of Culture.
The prize for the best performance, worth 500 euros and trophy, went to "Entrevías", from the company Teatro El Matadero.
While the second prize, worth 300 euros, went to "The cyanide .. alone or with milk?", From the Apolo Theater Company.
The third prize of 200 euros was for "at home or in mine, ma'am?", Coliseum Theater Group that also won the public prize, also endowed with 200 euros.
The three pieces performed at the festival were selected by the jury, composed of the actresses Charo García Baño and Mari Carmen Guirao and the graduate in Art History, Mari Carmen Martínez Lloris.
During the awards ceremony, the work "Prohibited to Dream" was presented, with script and direction by Charo García Baño in which young students of IES Mar Menor participated, who are part of the quarry of actors from the local theater group La Federico's barrack.
