The process of participatory budgeting began in October with various information sessions and the presentation of the new process to bodies such as the City Social Council and the mayors.
From October 8 to 21, citizens had the opportunity to present their ideas, with a total of 41 proposals and, after the technical assessment, 12 of them passed to the voting phase.
Finally, from 12 to 23 October, the voting phase was held, in which all the residents of the town, aged 16 and over, registered in the municipality, through the web portal enabled for Participatory Budgets, could participate. and in person in the homes of the pensioner and the Citizen Service Office.
The City of San Pedro del Pinatar thus consolidates its open government policy in this second call for participatory budgets, in which it has doubled the amount allocated for them and has opened the process to citizen proposals.
