The program incorporates the celebration of New Year's Eve as the main novelty and the new fairground becomes the epicenter of activities, with musicals, theater, screenings, galas, games, etc.
The Councilman of Celebrations, Javier Castejón, has presented today the Christmas program in San Pedro del Pinatar, which includes more than 50 activities from this bridge of the Constitution until the next day January 13, 2019.
This year the epicenter of the activities will be concentrated in the fairgrounds, where the municipal tent, the Santa Claus House, the town of Christmas and fairground attractions are located.
In this environment children's activities will be developed, such as theater, magic, circus, games, multi-adventure day, school carol contest, etc.
In addition to performances and shows such as the musical show "The Lion King", on December 22 in charge of the Peña El Caldero;
"Aladín", on Saturday, December 29, "La Cenicienza", "The Crystal Shoe", on Sunday, December 30, or the musical of "The Three Little Pigs," on January 4, in addition to magic shows, balloons and bubbles, Christmas games, Drilo at Christmas, etc.
There will also be room for a more adult audience with the screening of the documentary "Memories Crusades", on December 16, in the municipal tent, the concert of the Choir Patnia in the Church of the Holy Trinity, on December 21, the 28 December, the awards ceremony of the Nativity Scene and Show Contest, enlivened by a recital of poetry and carols;
and on December 30, the Christmas concert of the Municipal Union Musical band at the Festival Venue.
This year the People of Christmas will also be strengthened, installed in the fairground, with a spectacular arrival of Santa Claus on Saturday, December 15 and daily workshops for the little ones.
The renovated Plaza de La Constitución will host on December 29 a Christmas sings Disney and on Monday December 31, one of the main novelties this year, New Year's Eve, with cotillion, grapes of luck and animation.
Another novelty will be the open day on Thursday, December 27 at the Municipal Sports Center.
In addition to the extensive programming, the showcase and nativity scene contests are consolidated, with which they intend to preserve traditions and encourage local commerce.
The winners, who will have the commission of parties as a jury, will receive awards between 100 and 250 euros.
The Councilman of Celebration, Javier Castejón, has appreciated the work of the various councils involved in this program, such as Celebrations, Youth, Culture, Sports, Social Services, Police and Civil Protection, Community Services and Education, in addition to the involvement of various collectives and local associations.
As well as the associations that complete these programs such as the homes of the pensioner, Housewives, Coral Patnia, etc.
