The Multipurpose Room of the Municipal Museum Barón de Benifayó, hosts until March 3 an exhibition about the poet from Murcia Eduardo Flores.
Last night, the Councilor for Culture, Silvia Egea and the great-granddaughter of the poet, Mara Sánchez Flores, opened the exhibition in which you can see documents and objects of the illustrious poet.
Thus, we can appreciate the commercial side of Flores, as an exporter of paprika, his collaborations in literary magazines, and the relationship he had with great writers, politicians and people of the culture in general.
It is surprising to discover how the poet takes advantage of his business trips to get drunk with longing and show through his verses the love of his Murcian roots.
Last night, his great-granddaughter, accompanied by family and friends, explained how close her family is to San Pedro del Pinatar and offered a recital of poems accompanied on the piano by her son, great-great-grandson of the poet.
