The Mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, and the Councilor for Tourism, Silivia Egea, collected this recognition in 'La Noche Q 2019', organized by the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality, within the framework of the International Tourism Fair of Madrid, FITUR 2019.
The beaches of La Puntica, Villananitos, La Mota and El Mojón received on the night of Thursday, January 24, the renewal of the Q Certificate of Tourist Quality, in the annual award Q, which is celebrated in the framework of FITUR 2019 .
This badge, granted by the Institute for the Spanish Tourist Quality (ICTE), guarantees the accessibility, cleanliness and safety of the certified beaches and provides, in turn, reliability, differentiation and promotion.
The mayor and the Councilor for Tourism of San Pedro del Pinatar collected this award with the municipalities of Lorca and Cartagena, which also ratified this year the Q Certificate of Tourism Quality, in the field of the Region of Murcia.
La Noche Q, held at the Palacio Cibeles in Madrid, was chaired by the Minister of Industry and Tourism, Reyes Maroto, and the president of ICTE, Miguel Mirones.
In addition to recognitions to companies and organizations that obtained or renewed their certificate in 2018 with the Q of Tourism Quality, in the development of the act were awarded the Q Awards to the City of Benidorm, the Correos Group and the government of Valle del Cauca in Colombia .
The act was enlivened by the Band of Baranoa, coming from Colombia, and the performance of the violinist Maureen Choi and the double bass Mario Carrillo.
