On the occasion of the feast of St. Thomas Aquinas, the institutes of the town of San Pedro del Pinatar organized many activities for all tastes.
Thus, the IES Manuel Tárraga Escribano has done since 09:00 hours dozens of activities coordinated by different departments, such as a hot chocolate with churros, sports tournaments;
Zumba, Mathematical and chemical games, Robotics workshops, Scape Room, Electronic assemblies, 3D drawings, Self-defense workshop, Consoles room, etc.
Among other activities, a literary and French gymkhana, virtual games, film screenings and, finally, from 12.00h the prize was awarded to the student who designed the new logo of the AMPA and closed the day with the concert in which teachers and students participate.
In addition, First Aid workshops have been conducted by Civil Protection personnel and volunteers, and the Local Police has conducted self-defense workshops and an informative talk.
The IES Dos Mares has also started the day with a hot chocolate with churros, and has made a fun gymkana in which students have participated in disguise and have had to pass tests related to the various departments of the center, as well as workshops of card games , chess and robotics.
In addition, the center has made different championships in sports.
The City Council has collaborated in both centers with the coordination of the zumba workshops, robotics carried out by iSchool and a radio special on the municipal radio station, Radio Pinatar.
