The Plaza de la Constitución and the urban center of San Pedro del Pinatar today gave the kick-off to the Carnival in the town with a "carnival aperitif" starring the batbal Timbaloe and the joke of Beniaján.
From 12:00 hours, the rhythm of Timbaloe announced the arrival of Carnival to the town in the squares of La Constitución and Spain and the surrounding streets.
At 13:00, it was the turn of the humor in charge of the components of the chirigota that have interacted with the audience, making him a participant in his funny compositions.
The Carnival program will continue next week, with the Gala on Friday, March 1, in the municipal tent installed in the Lo Pagán esplanade, where a tribute to the 20 years of the Carnival Mask will be performed and the comparsas will be presented local.
On Saturday, March 2, it will be the turn of the youngest, with extensive programming also in the renovated urban center, which will give way, on Sunday March 3, to the great Carnival parade, in which more than 40 comparsas from the entire Region will fill the streets of the town with color and music.
