The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, and the councilor of New Technologies, Álvaro Tárraga, today presented the new web portal of the City Council, which aims to offer citizens a useful and agile tool to perform their procedures, plus to give access to the municipal interest data, through the transparency portal, and to approach the municipality through this online window, with a more modern, intuitive and visual image.

Visitación Martínez pointed out that this new website complies with the principles of transparency and administration open to the citizen that the City Council develops from different areas.

In addition, he highlighted the work of the Department of New Technologies, as the new web portal has been completely redesigned by the computer equipment of the City Council.

For his part, Álvaro Tárraga explained that it is a 100% responsive website, since it is adapted for any support, an important measure, since 60% of users access the portal through mobile devices.

In addition, the interface has been simplified, to make the page more intuitive to the user, also adding new features.

The transparency portal stands out, more complete and simple to use, with 100 items that allow citizens to access municipal economic information, contracting and municipal management, etc.

Another of the most significant improvements is the implementation of the electronic headquarters, as citizens can perform more than 350 procedures from home, with options such as receiving notifications about the process in which there is a certain procedure or a payment gateway.

In the reform of the new website the security of the platform has also been improved, in compliance with the new data protection laws, the councilor has concluded.
