This teacher based in San Pedro del Pinatar presents her first book in which she pays homage to all those people who have marked her life, from her parents or first teachers to the students who day by day teach her from the classroom.
The house of Culture of San Pedro del Pinatar hosted last Friday, March 1, the presentation of the first book of the teacher Toņi Moreno, entitled "Letters that I did not send to the teachers of my life."
The author, a native of Granada but settled in San Pedro del Pinatar for almost 20 years, was accompanied in this presentation by the Councilor for Education, Guadalupe García and the teacher and prologue of the book, Eva María Alcáraz, in addition to a large audience that filled the auditorium of the House of Culture.
Sheltered by family, friends, students and readers, Moreno explained how at a very early age he got his love for writing, his vocation as a teacher, and how it was after the birth of one of his children when he embarked on this book in the one who reviews his life experience from the hand of the people who, with his teachings, have marked his life.
It is an autobiographical account of a restless student, who has never ceased to be, despite becoming a teacher.
In his forties, Toņi Moreno reviews the journey, making an interior monologue and taking notes of the people he met on the way.
Meanwhile, the author stops to write emotional letters for those who taught her something: the teachers of her life.
In an emotional presentation, the author encouraged the attendees to remember those people who have marked their lives and to pursue those childhood dreams, which seem impossible or unworkable but with effort and confidence can be achieved.
