The expansion works of the Maspalomas school in San Pedro del Pinatar will start this year and will finish during the 2019-2020 academic year, according to the general director of educational centers, Remedios Lajara.
Lajara explained that the project, which involves a budget of 338,000 euros, has already been hired.
The works will consist of unifying the entire educational center and joining the Infantil classrooms with the main primary pavilion, currently separated.
To this end, the main headquarters will be expanded with two classrooms for Pre-school Education and a multi-purpose classroom, as well as an office for the administrative services of the school.
With this action, said the general director, "we will benefit the educational quality of 70 children demonstrating, once again, the commitment of the regional government to provide the necessary spaces so that students in the region can receive the best education."
