The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed an investigation aimed at clarifying the violent death of a man found in his home in San Pedro del Pinatar, which has resulted in the arrest of the wife of the deceased as an alleged perpetrator of the crime of homicide .
The investigation began last Thursday, March 21, as a result of the issuance of a call by the alleged author to the Emergency Services of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, telephone 112, for an assault on a home of San Pedro del Pinatar.
During the call, a woman reported assaulting her partner with a knife in the neck as a self-defense by an earlier aggression on the part of the man.
Once the investigating agents were present at the home, the alleged aggressor spontaneously stated that she had discussed with her partner about a possible infidelity discovered through her mobile phone that morning and that after the discussion ended the husband opted to leave the home. , moment in which the wife grabbed him by the arm and returned him to the dwelling.
Supposedly and according to the information gathered, already inside, the woman took a knife with the intention of self-harm by cutting her veins.
Upon observing this act, the husband grabbed his partner and both began a struggle in which the wife assaulted her husband in the neck with the knife.
Apparently, after observing the result of the aggression, the injured requested the alleged aggressor to notify the emergency services.
The medical practitioners arrived at the house but could only certify the death of the injured.
The protocol established for the cases of homicide was then set in motion, the judicial authority appearing and proceeding to the removal of the corpse.
At the same time and once the criminal act was confirmed, the Civil Guard initiated the investigation to clarify the facts with the practice of an exhaustive technical-ocular inspection and the collection of samples and vestiges, as well as other procedures.
The development of the proceedings has led to the arrest of the wife of the deceased as alleged perpetrator of the crime of homicide.
The one now arrested denounced her partner for the alleged commission of a crime of gender violence in July 2018, although the same desisted from continuing the process in court.
Since last summer the man resided in Madrid for work reasons, although he went to San Pedro del Pinatar on a regular basis to visit his family.
Entry in prison of the arrested
The detained Ecuadorian, of 27 years and resident in San Pedro del Pinatar, seized the effects and the diligences instructed have been made available to the Court of Instruction number 4 of San Javier (Murcia), which has decreed his entry into prison.
