This program, which has lasted one year, has been financed by the Employment and Education Service with a subsidy of 235.00 euros from the Ministry of Employment, Universities, Business and the Environment, through the Employment and Training Service (SEF) and a provision by the City Council of more than 70,000 euros mainly for material.
The general director of the SEF, Severa González, together with the mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, and the Councilor for Employment, José Fernández, attended today the closing of the mixed employment and training program in masonry in which they have participated for a year 15 unemployed between 24 and 54 years.
These students, 9 men and 6 women, who have alternated theoretical classes with effective work to specialize in the operations of rigid finishes and urbanization, in order to carry out tasks of improvement and conditioning of the streets and public spaces of the urban area.
Thus, during this year the participants in the program have made 1,292 square meters of sidewalk to improve the accessibility of several areas of the town.
After completing the theoretical and practical modules, which have been complemented with training in Equality, Environment, etc.
Once this program is completed, participants will be able to access the labor market as pawns in the construction of buildings and public works, among other positions.
In addition, they have obtained a certificate of professionalism, valid throughout the country, which will allow them to accredit the skills and abilities acquired.
