The Baron de Benifayó Museum, known as Casa de la Rusa, has been distinguished in the category of 'Rehabilitation with public investment', while the Lodomar Hotel has won the Tourism Use building award, in the eighth edition of the Awards of Quality in the Construction of the Region.
These awards, granted by the Regional Government together with the Official Association of Quantity Surveyors, Technical Architects and Building Engineers of the Region, the Regional Federation of Construction Entrepreneurs and the Cajamurcia Foundation;
they have been granted since 2004 on a biennial basis and distinguish the works that guarantee the quality, safety, habitability, suitability and durability of the buildings.
In this edition, a total of 37 candidatures from the Region have attended.
The Hotel Traiña, of San Pedro del Pinatar, was also awarded in the last edition of these awards, also in the category of Tourist Use, granted in 2017.
The awards will be delivered on April 9 at the Víctor Villegas Auditorium in Murcia and a catalog will be published with the winning projects that can be consulted on the web of the prizes: http://portaleslr.carm.es/web/precae
