The Department of Culture scheduled a day of activities around this day, with the presentation of the story of Murcia author Francisca Martinez, storytellers and workshops.
The garden of the House of Culture hosted on the afternoon of April 2 the celebration of the Children's Book and Youth Day with the presentation of the book "The Patito Resfriado" by the writer from Murcia Francisca Martínez Merino, which was followed by a storyteller by of the author, in addition to games and other activities for the little ones.
Francisca Martínez (Fuente Álamo, 1959) is a poet, writer and child educator.
She is the author of several children's stories and two books of poetry, she has also prefaced several books and collaborated in anthologies, in addition to coordinating Poetry contest in her native town for more than 20 years.
