The Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, Adela Martínez-Cachá, visited the CBM Maspalomas of San Pedro del Pinatar, along with the mayor of the municipality, Visitación Martínez, on the occasion of the celebration of the 'Cultural Week', which in this edition is dedicated to the cinema, 'Lights, Camera ... Emotion!'
The 230 children of Primary and Primary School have had the opportunity to enjoy numerous activities during the week, such as a master class with the cartoonist, illustrator and storyboarder of films like 'Tadeo Jones 2', 'Catch the Flag' or ' Planet 51 ', Paco Sáez;
an encounter with the writer and scriptwriter of cinema and theater that will present his book 'Fantasy of Winter', J. Fran González-Amorós;
an improvisation workshop with the graduate in dramatic art Carmen Heredia;
or a talk 'El Corto desde dentro' with the photographer and director of the short film contest 'Cortopilar', José Domingo Martínez.
During the week there were also workshops and activities that will conclude this Friday, April 5 with the output 'We are going to the Cinema', for all students of Children and Primary to the cinema 'Las Velas'.
The counselor valued this initiative and congratulated the teachers for their "great work".
Martínez-Cachá highlighted the promotion of new methodologies in the education system, "the media and the cinema act as informal educators, after their playful dimension they have a formative aspect, and if they have the right tools and criteria they can be conceived from other more formal perspectives and, consequently, with an educational objective ".
