The Nautical Fair Marina de las Salinas-Region of Murcia will host a total of 50 exhibitors in its IX edition that is held from Thursday April 18 until Sunday 21 in San Pedro del Pinatar, which will show the latest developments in boats new and used, motor and sail, semi-rigid, naval electronics, engines, jet skis, sails, windsurfing and kitesurfing material, maritime security, mooring rental and sale, insurance, fishing, diving, household and naval decoration, among others.
The Minister of Development and Infrastructure, Patricio Valverde, along with the manager of the Marina de las Salinas, Domingo Macanas, presented the exhibition today, where he highlighted that this show "has established itself as the great showcase of the nautical sector of the entire Region and is already an institution in our Region. "
He congratulated the promoters for an initiative that "contributes to stimulate the dissemination of nautical activities that promote economic activity, tourism and the values ​​of a healthy life in a natural environment as extraordinary as the coast of the Region of Murcia."
The fair is free access and can be moored free of charge by all those who decide to approach by sea.
The contest is complemented every year with a great gastronomic and leisure offer in the whole port.
Nautical titles
The Ministry of Development and Infrastructure will hold the next calls for the exercises to obtain nautical titles on June 23 and November 17.
In the last test held this year, 1,216 people registered, 355 more than in March of last year.
The Ministry also processes the underwater activities cards of the professional diving area of ​​the educational and labor fields.
The issuance of these cards has experienced a significant increase in recent times.
In 2017 153 cards were issued and in 2018, a total of 198.
During the act of presentation of the fair, a recognition was given to the captains of Merchant Marine, Diego Solano and Julio Abril, for their collaboration in the processes of obtaining the nautical titles that the Ministry carries out.
