San Pedro del Pinatar hosted on 12 and 13 April the championships of Spain sub 13 and sub 17 squash, with players from Murcia, Valencia, Catalonia, Andalusia and Galicia, among others.
The Sports Center San Pedro hosted last weekend the Spanish squash championship in the categories sub 13 and sub 17, with a wide local representation formed by 16 players, among which Adrián Gracia, third in the sub 17, and Ángela Gracia, who reached fourth place in the sub 13 category.
Mar Altarriba and Ona Blasco, both from Catalonia, rose as sub 13 champions, while Ignacio Fajardo (Catalonia) and Martina Flores (Galicia) were the winners of the championship in sub 17 category.
The Councilor for Sports, Javier Castejón stressed the importance of this sport in the town and congratulated the organization for the good results and the size of the championship.
After this championship, the player from Granada will defend the colors of the national team in the next European Championship under 17 squash national teams, which will be played in Holland.
