The exhibition includes the work of "Friends of the Mar Menor" whose photographs can be acquired for the benefit of the Spanish Association Against Cancer
Yesterday, Saturday, April 27, the councilor of culture of San Pedro del Pinatar, Silvia Egea, accompanied Benito Perez, director of the Museum of the Sea, at the opening of the photo exhibition that occupies the multipurpose room of this unit of the Brotherhood of Fishermen.
Under the title "Arts and Crafts" of the Mar Menor, the collective exhibition gathers the work of "Amigos del Mar Menor", a group of photography enthusiasts who, in social networks, share their passion for this art and the natural environment of the salty lagoon.
The arts and crafts are the protagonists of the show.
In the Mar Menor, fishing is one of the oldest activities that man has developed to procure food.
Even today, in our municipality is one of the economic activities that has a fish market of the Fishermen's Guild of San Pedro del Pinatar that receives daily catches.
On this occasion, 11 graphic artists, José Alfonso Cervera, Sara Brocal, Ricardo C. Blanco, Amparo Soler, Franchesca Sáez, Andrea Reques, José Miguel Grandal, José Amira, Pedro Sáez, Ángel Maciá and Juan Muñoz hang their photographs that can be acquired for the benefit of the Spanish Association against Cancer.
