The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez, has highlighted the effort, commitment and professionalism of the public workers of the consistory.
The plenary hall of the City of San Pedro del Pinatar has hosted today an act of recognition to retired public employees and deceased since 2011.
The mayor of the town, Visitación Martínez, has highlighted the work of these municipal employees who, from very different areas, have contributed to the City Council being a close, modern and efficient administration.
Visitación Martínez pointed out that many of the honorees have worked for decades in the administration, facing challenges such as population growth, improvement and expansion of public services or digital transformation.
"Challenges that have faced with responsibility and effort, always having as priority the attention to the residents of San Pedro del Pinatar," he added.
The mayor has thanked all the honorees who have been for decades the human face of the City Council, working with dedication and vocation of public services in all kinds of situations.
The retired workers honored in this have been: Amanda Gavilán, Encarna Lorca, Alfonso Pérez, Rafael Baños, José Luis Sorlí, Francisco García, José Madrid, Jesús Saura, Antonio Liza, Mariano Cegarra, Víctor Jerez, Dolores García, Pedro Grau, Luis Well, José Martínez, Pascual Egea, Josefa Samper, Francisco Carlos Madrid, Manuel Lozano, José Antonio Zapata, Juana Jiménez, Manuel Mayol, María José Gallego, Daniel Verdú, Joaquín Navarro, José Pardo and Manuel Almagro.
The work of deceased public employees since 2011 has also been recognized;
Fermín Sánchez, Juan Carlos Escudero, Ramón Muñoz, Margarita Vivo, Encarna Torralba, Francisco José Jaén, and Pilar Navarro.
