The parish priest of the town, Roberto Burgos, and the president of Cáritas Parroquial San Pedro del Pinatar, Antonio Tárraga, today received the donation of 180 euros from the painter Juan Luis Ibarreta, corresponding to 50 percent of the proceeds from the sale of paintings that during the month of March were exhibited in the Arts Space of the House of Culture.
In addition, during the ceremony the painter donated to the mayor of the town, Visitación Martínez, a picture of the House of Culture, which can be seen in this municipal building.
Juan Luis Ibarreta, settled for years in the Mar Menor is a retired pilot of the General Air Academy and, through watercolor, plasma in his work landscapes that flew over years.
