The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, the general director of Youth of the Autonomous Community, Francisco Sánchez, and the councilors of Youth, Javier Castejón, and Education, Guadalupe García, today visited the second edition of the Youth Fair and Education, which is celebrated in the Lo Pagán esplanade, until 9:00 p.m.

The mayor explained that this fair, with the double side, playful and educational is a space for young people to know the activities and proposals of groups and youth associations and also the entire supply of educational entities

For his part, the general director has stressed the importance of young people having fun and enjoy their leisure time in a healthy way and at the same time have the opportunity to be prepared and well trained for the future.

Throughout the day today, Saturday May 4, attendees can enjoy musical and dance performances, sky simulators, balance combat, zip line, climbing wall, escape room, laser tag championship, graffiti exhibition, photobox, championships video games or pedal kart racing, among others.

Thus, the fair is divided into three differentiated areas: the exhibition space inside the tent with educational institutions and associations;

the area of ​​performances and an outdoor area for games and leisure activities.

The educational part, with the aim of advising and helping young people to decide their formative and professional future, counts on the presence of universities such as the UPCT, UNED, University of Murcia or Miguel Hernández University, there are also institutes and educational centers of the locality such as the IES Dos Mares, Manuel Tárraga Escribano and New Castelar College and other training centers such as the Defense delegation in the Region of Murcia, Adult Education, the Official School of Languages ​​or the municipal school Unión Musical.

The Youth Hostel, the Nautical Activities Center, the local scouts, Ischool programming and robotics, the European GEGL project and the Councils of Education and Youth have also been represented with stand.
