This cycle has been given by the Department of Equality in collaboration with the Association of Relatives and Women of the Rural Environment of the Region, AFAMMER, since last March.
The councilor of Equality, Guadalupe García, and the president of AFAMMER, Carmen English, delivered the diplomas to the women participating in the empowerment workshops as a tool for the prevention of gender violence that developed in recent months at the Women's Center and Social Services Agustina Santiago.
The objective of this cycle has been to favor the empowerment and development of women's self-esteem as a way to prevent situations of inequality and gender violence, through four sessions.
During this cycle, the position of women in today's society has been addressed and how to address situations of inequality and revert them, through a participatory methodology.
