The association of patients and family members of fibromyalgia of San Pedro del Pinatar, ASENFIFA, joins the activities developed at international level, to give visibility and support to people suffering from this disease.
The ASENFIFA association from Pinar del Rio has set up an information table in the Plaza de la Constitución, where they have also sold handmade products by the members to raise funds, thus adding to the activities of the International Day of Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue, which is celebrated the 12th of May.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, and the councilor of Civic Participation, Fuensanta García, accompanied this morning some of the members of this association, founded in 2009 and composed of more than forty women suffering from this ailment .
The City Council of San Pedro del Pinatar, through the public call for subsidies for socio-health projects, allocates 4,327 euros for the adapted physiotherapy program in a marine spa for patients with fibromyalgia.
