The Councilor for Tourism of San Pedro del Pinatar, Silvia Egea, attended this morning at the beginning of the navigation workshops for children with oncological and chronic diseases "Navigating through life", together with the promoter of the activity, José Ballester.
Thus, the workshop that has begun today, will consist of 9 days of navigation in which children will learn navigation gear, sailor knots, orientation, parts of the boat, etc.
"Navigating through life" is a solidary and altruistic project that offers children and young people suffering from cancer and other chronic diseases, in stable phases of their illness, a navigation workshop in the Mar Menor, with the aim of promoting active leisure and improve the quality of life of these children, making them enjoy nature and providing them with nautical training.
