The school won the title of champion in both male and female category in this tournament organized by Pinatar Balompié and in which the eight elementary schools of the town have participated.
On June 12, the Pinatar Arena sports complex hosted the fifth Interschool Cup, organized by the Pinatar Balompié club, in which 200 school children from all the primary schools of the town participated.
The boys and girls of the San Pedro Apóstol school won the title of champion in the men's and women's category, winning in the final at New Castelar College and Nuestra Señora del Carmen, respectively.
The individual awards as best players went to Enya Saez (San Pedro Apóstol) and Manu Vega (Nuestra Señora del Carmen).
The quarter-final phase in the men's category started with a duel of maximum equality in which they were imposed by the minimal Nuestra Señora del Carmen, New Castelar College and San Pedro Apóstol, qualifying for the final gold after beating Villa Alegría, Los Pines and Antolinos, respectively.
While the other semifinalist came out of the duel between Las Esperanzas and Maspalomas, beating the latter in a comfortable way.
On the other hand in the female box, Maspalomas, San Pedro Apóstol, New Castelar College and Villa Alegría were classified for the gold final phase after winning their quarterfinal clashes against Las Esperanzas, Los Antolinos, Los Pinos and Nuestra Señora del Carmen, respectively.
Halfway through the afternoon the semifinals were played in the gold and silver phase of the men's and women's category, with very close matches.
The luck, the success and the soccer quality showed that the finalists were: San Pedro Apóstol and New Castelar College in feminine category and Our Lady of the Carmen and San Pedro Apóstol in masculine category.
With the result already known that raised with a double for San Pedro Apostle.
The act of awarding trophies was chaired by the Councilor for Education, Guadalupe García, the heads of the organizing club Pinatar Balompié and the teachers of the schools.
The tournament counted as a novelty this year with the addition of the women's tournament and the organization highlighted the involvement of the school community with this tournament to finish the course.
