The homes of pensioner Raimundo Benedicto and José Espinosa have celebrated this week, on the occasion of the patron saint festivities and the end of the year, parties at both venues with exhibitions of work, performances of the choir and dance workshops, prizes of the games contests of table and recognition to the older partners.
The Councilor for Social Welfare, Fuensanta García, accompanied by members of the Municipal Government Team and the reign of the Third Age inaugurated in both venues the exhibitions of students of painting and handicraft workshops.
In addition, this year the users of the Center for Day Care Centers participated in the Lo Pagán exhibition, with drawings made according to the model of Painter Omar Vergara.
The choir "Voces doradas" and the students of the dance workshop entertained this celebration with their performances, which gave way to the delivery of prizes of the board games celebrated on the occasion of the festivities, and the tribute to the senior members, Francisco Madrid and Juana Sánchez in San Pedro, and Pedro Sánchez and Joaquina Andreu Martínez in Lo Pagán.
In addition, throughout the week meals have been held coexistence among members of the workshops and the choir has visited the residences of the municipality's elders.
