Last Thursday, June 20, ESO fourth students of the Instituto Manuel Tárraga Escribano of San Pedro del Pinatar participated in the final of the contest 'Know your region' in the City Hall of Los Alcázares, organized by the Eco Cultural Association and that counts with the collaboration of the consistories of the Mar Menor.

Thus, this contest allows young people to know in depth their region with questions referred to different topics such as;

Environment, History, Region of Murcia, Mar Menor, Cabezo Gordo, Socio-Economy, Socio-Politics and Local Memory.

The Councilor for Education, Carmen María López, attended this final phase, accompanying the local students and putting into value this type of initiative that brings young people closer to their immediate surroundings.
