The municipality celebrated yesterday the religious festival of Corpus Christi, in which dozens of children processioned in processions, in which brotherhoods, associations and neighbors installed altars to honor the sacred form.
San Pedro del Pinatar hosted the Corpus Christi procession at around 8:00 pm on Sunday, June 23, an event that was also celebrated in Lo Pagán during the morning, in which dozens of children who received the first Communion.
Thus, dozens of children left, after a Eucharist in the Church of the Holy Trinity, accompanied by the banners of the brotherhoods of Holy Week of San Pedro del Pinatar opening the processional procession.
The little ones, who this year received communion, spread petals of flowers on the altars and streets of the municipality, to receive the sacred form, to the Plaza de la Constitución.
In the morning, at 11:00 hours, the children of the coastal district left from the parish of Nuestra Seńora del Carmen.
The altars, exquisitely decorated, received the children, relatives and numerous neighbors, and the priests of the town who under the canopy carried the symbol of the Body of Christ.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, members of the Municipal Corporation and faithful of the municipality closed the procession followed by the music band Unión Musical de San Pedro.
