The choir of the pensioner homes of San Pedro del Pinatar and Lo Pagán "Voces Doradas", represented yesterday "the last guateque" a hilarious musical framed in the programming of the Patron Saint Festivities.
Thus, on the stage of the House of Culture and with the full capacity, the 25 members of the choir performed popular songs of Los Brincos, El Dúo Dinámico, Cocha Velasco, etc. that have been rehearsing for four months.
Choreographed by the numerous public and with musical arrangements by the choir director, Armando Jaén Rojas, yesterday some of the musical themes that marked the "guateques", those homemade parties of the 60s from which so many couples emerged and marked a whole era, sounded.
The members of the choir "Voces Doradas" have also been in charge of the costumes, props and scenery of "El Ăltimo Guateque", whose texts and direction have been given by Blanca Nieves Pérez Francia.
