The patron saint festivities of San Pedro del Pinatar lived last night one of its most traditional and emotional acts, the offering of fruits to the patron, which gathered hundreds of neighbors dressed in regional costume.
The numerous procession, formed by associations, brotherhoods, clubs and neighbors, parades through the streets of the town, from Plaza Luis Molina to Plaza de la Constitución to honor their employer delivering vegetables, fruits and vegetables that, after the act, They were donated to charities.
In the Offering, organized by the Brotherhood of St. Peter the Apostle, neighbors of all ages deposited the baskets of fruits and vegetables at the feet of the image of the saint.
Associations and collectives, such as the brotherhoods of Holy Week or the clubs of the popular barracks, the courts of honor of the Queens of the Fiestas, local authorities and hundreds of neighbors formed this procession that was enlivened by the regional dances of the Peña El Cauldron, accompanied by the rondalla, and in charge of opening the parade, as well as by the municipal band Union Musical, which closed it.
After the offering the president of the Brotherhood of San Pedro, Alfonso Pérez, made a request to the patron and the parish priest, Don Roberto Burgos and the Mayor, Visitación Martínez, thanked the participation of the residents of Pinatare and invited the neighbors to continue enjoying the parties.
